Prayers By His Royal Majesty Professor Fuankem Achankeng I, @ WAELE AFRICA Global Peace Prayers for Sudan & Other War Torn Countries

Professor, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, USA and Ruler of Atoabechied, Cameroon 🇨🇲

Our Father and our God, You are the God of justice and mercy. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them including us, human beings. You made us in Your image and asked that we live in peace with one another.

Father, we have derailed in many ways through disobedience. Our leaders, whom You have given the privileged position of leading Your children in peaceful ways have failed You. The result is incessant and needless wars with the attendant result of famine, hunger, epidemic, death and all sorts of evil. Father, we pray for Your forgiveness.

In a special way, we are lifting up Sudan, Ambazonia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea and other war-torn countries in Africa as well as in other continents such as Syria, Western Sahara, Afghanistan, Yemen, lraq, Ukraine and many others. Your children are suffering because of these wars. Families are torn apart. Humanity is no longer at peace. The environment is suffering the effect. There is bitterness all over the place. Please, Father intervene and restore peace to these areas and among Your children.

Father, You never made us to be killing one another. We can never have peace through the barrels of the gun. Please, Lord bring Your own peace and bring to an end these needless wars and sufferings.

We bring before You women and children who are among the most vulnerable in these wars. Please, Lord, comfort and secure them. We pray for the soldiers that are mobilized for these wars, most times against their will. Please, Lord deliver them and give them the heart of love even as they are at the war fronts. Please, Lord cause a cease fire to be and cause these wars to end.

We are praying for the leaders of these countries that they will seek peaceful ways of resolving these conflicts rather than resorting to brutality and bloodshed.

We are praying for other world leaders and mediators in these conflicts. Please, Lord, let them seek Your will. Direct them to shun wickedness and selfishness. We are praying for those who are merchandising in theses wars. Please, Lord, rebuke them and give them other means of livelihood. 

Lord, You do not forget anything. What ever we have forgotten to ask in this regard, we pray that You bring it to remembrance before Your holy throne. The ones we have asked wrongly, we pray for Your forgiveness and that You put them right before Your throne of grace.

Help us Lord to be agents of peace now in this divide while we await that glorious day when You will come to bring an end to sin and sinners, when You will establish the new world of everlasting peace. Until then, dear Lord God, may You bring peace to Sudan, Ambazonia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea Syria, Western Sahara, Afghanistan, Yemen, lraq, Ukraine and other war-torn countries of Africa and the rest of the world.

This and many more we ask through the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
